Your mission
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Head of Sales to join our leadership team. This individual will play a pivotal role in shaping our private market sales strategy, expanding our client base, and driving revenue growth. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in a top management consulting (with focus on FMCG or other consumer segments) and/or consumer insights firm, with experience working for industry leading clients. Fluency in English and either German or French is essential.

- Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to drive subscription-based sales growth.
- Identify and target new business opportunities in the FMCG, retail, and financial services sectors.
- Deliver meaningful input to marketing and performance marketing initiatives to drive sales.
- Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their needs and aligning them with World Data Lab's solutions.
- Team Leadership:
- Lead, mentor, and expand the existing sales team to achieve sales targets and business objectives.
- Foster a high-performance culture, ensuring the team is motivated and equipped with the necessary skills and resources.
- Product Development Feedback:
- Funnel client feedback into the product development process to ensure our offerings meet market demands and client needs.
- Collaborate with the product development team to refine and enhance our data solutions.
- Scalable Sales Organization:
- Design and implement scalable sales processes and systems to support growth and efficiency.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to inform strategic decisions and continuous improvement.
- Market Expansion:
- Drive efforts to attract and secure new clients, with a primary focus on the FMCG sector, and secondary focus on retail and financial services.
- Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for new product launches and market entries.
